CARNIVAL EXTRAVAGANZA
THE FULL CARNIVAL EXTRAVAGANZA IN A SINGLE MASKED EVENT
There is a place in Venice that Giacomo Casanova knew well. A frescoed ballroom, frequented by nobles, adventurers, and seducers, where the 18th-century carnival burned in its most unbridled and sumptuous form. It is called the Salone del Ridotto, now part of the Hotel Monaco & Grand Canal, and every year during the Venice Carnival it comes back to life exactly as it once was. The full extravaganza of carnival in a single evening — because carnival in Venice means stepping into another era, witnessing breathtaking performances, and becoming an accomplished dancer for one night.
A lavish cocktail hour will welcome guests, followed by a seated four-course dinner in the main hall, paired with regional wines. The main courses feature fish, though vegetarian and meat options are available upon request. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking.
The entire evening will be accompanied by live music from the orchestra, dressed in period costumes, setting the rhythm of the festivities with arias and duets, dance performances, and imaginative spectacles. Guests will have a front-row seat to moments of musical and theatrical entertainment, where performers in the magnificent costumes of Atelier Tiepolo will be joined by a baroque ensemble.
The highlight of the evening will be the period dances, where guests become the true stars of the celebration. Under the expert guidance of Dance Masters, every participant will have the chance to learn the basic steps of the European court dances of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Doors open at 8:00 PM, and wearing a period costume is required — available for rental at Atelier Tiepolo. A coat check service will be provided, and an elevator is available for guests with mobility needs.

COSTUME RENTAL

Atelier Tiepolo will be available by appointment from Saturday, 23 Jan. to Saturday, 13 Feb.

After purchasing a silver or gold ticket for the Venice Carnival in Costume (the red ticket is available exclusively for the Valentine’s Day event), Atelier Tiepolo will contact you to schedule an appointment for costume selection and fitting, which will take place on the same day as your booked event or on a previous day, to be arranged together. You will receive directions to reach us in Venice and all the details about costume hire. For any other enquiries or further information, please fill in the contact form.

FEMALE COSTUME
includes all essential accessories (underskirts, panniers or cages) and any other accessories that are part of the costume itself (small bags, chokers, brooches, etc.).

MALE COSTUME
includes all essential accessories (shirt, jabot, tights, shoe buckles).

ALL OTHER ACCESSORIES
such as hats, masks, capes, shoes, wigs, etc. are extras and not compulsory, with costs varying depending on the model.

SERVICES

TAILORING: any alterations are included in the rental price.
DELIVERY: delivery and/or collection at your hotel is available upon request at an additional charge, but the costume fitting must always be carried out at the atelier.
Costumes must be returned to the Atelier by 11:00 am on the following day in the same condition in which they were hired.
