Welcome, or, as many of you have, welcome back! Attending or returning to the Tiepolo Ball, which has hosted guests from around the world since 1998, means reliving the era of elegance, free socializing, art, and the joy of Carnival . In the magnificent halls of the Ridotto, you will be enveloped by Baroque music and arias by major 18th-century composers performed by an ensemble of classical musicians. You will be enchanted by our artists, and you will be assisted by our staff.
The event begins with a sumptuous aperitif in the Ballroom, the perfect place to mingle with other guests, followed by the Gala Dinner in the adjacent rooms inspired by the flowers of love: Rose, Orchid, and Ranunculus. The gourmet menu , created specifically with meticulous attention to detail, offers seafood specialties from the Venetian culinary tradition, accompanied by a selection of regional wines. Those preferring a vegetarian or meat-based menu can indicate this when booking, as well as any allergies or food intolerances. After dinner, the Grand Period Ball
will be held in the Ridotto Hall, featuring waltzes, minuets, and country dances. Under the guidance of the Dance Masters, you will be amazed as you transform into dancers, performing the group dances that enlivened the festivities of European courts. Between dances, you will enjoy the traditional Venetian fritters, a symbol of Carnival. For those who prefer a cocktail (for a fee), the bar next to the Ridotto Hall will be open.

A PERIOD COSTUME is required . It can be rented at ATELIER TIEPOLO with a discount for those attending our balls.
Space is limited, and entry is guaranteed only after purchasing a ticket.

RIDOTTO HALLS

The Palace of the noble Dandolo family was the first place in Venice and the world to host a public venue for gambling (the Ridotto) from 1638 to 1774, and it was open only during the Venetian Carnival, becoming the beating heart of its long nights. Casanova himself, an avid gambler, frequented it, considering it a perfect place for his conquests.

Atelier Tiepolo will be available by appointment from Saturday, 23 Jan. to Saturday, 13 Feb.

After purchasing a silver or gold ticket for the Venice Carnival in Costume (the red ticket is available exclusively for the Valentine’s Day event), Atelier Tiepolo will contact you to schedule an appointment for costume selection and fitting, which will take place on the same day as your booked event or on a previous day, to be arranged together. You will receive directions to reach us in Venice and all the details about costume hire. For any other enquiries or further information, please fill in the contact form.

FEMALE COSTUME
includes all essential accessories (underskirts, panniers or cages) and any other accessories that are part of the costume itself (small bags, chokers, brooches, etc.).

MALE COSTUME
includes all essential accessories (shirt, jabot, tights, shoe buckles).

ALL OTHER ACCESSORIES
such as hats, masks, capes, shoes, wigs, etc. are extras and not compulsory, with costs varying depending on the model.

SERVICES

TAILORING: any alterations are included in the rental price.
DELIVERY: delivery and/or collection at your hotel is available upon request at an additional charge, but the costume fitting must always be carried out at the atelier.
Costumes must be returned to the Atelier by 11:00 am on the following day in the same condition in which they were hired.
