THE VENETIAN BALL FROM THE 1700s, AN INTERNATIONAL GATHERING SINCE 1998
This year the Ballo Tiepolo celebrates love in all its forms on the day dedicated to lovers, Valentine’s Day.
Guests will be welcomed by a rich aperitif in the Ridotto hall, to which it will follow a rich dinner in Halls next to the Ridotto, inspired by the flowers of Love: Rose, Orchid and Buttercup. The menu, created ad hoc for this occasion and with attention to details, will present fish dishes; for those who prefer a vegetarian or meat menu can indicate it at the time of booking. It will not be possible to change the menu on the day of the event and any food allergy must be reported in time.
During the evening the classical musicians will create a lovely atmosphere together with the opera singers, dancers and some performers who will perform in the
three halls, wearing the sumptuous costumes created by the Atelier Tiepolo. After dinner the grand ball will begin in the Ridotto Hall, the Dance Master with his partner will involve guests in t h e historical dances of the European courts, and the orchestra will accompany them. Between dances, guests can enjoy hot chocolate, Venetian fritters and Prosecco. The hotel Monaco will open the bar next to the Ridotto for whoever would like a drink after dinner; the cocktails are extras, not included with the entrance ticket.
It is mandatory to wear the period costume, which can be rented at the Atelier Tiepolo. A cloakroom service will be available and, in case of mobility difficulties, there is an elevator.

Evening program
• 7.50 p.m.: arrival of the guests and check of the tickets
• 8 p.m.: opening of the doors of the theatre and aperitif in the foyer
• 9 p.m.: access to Roses, Orchids and Buttercups halls to enjoy dinner
• 11.30 p.m.: end of dinner and start of the after dinner in the Ridotto Hall with sweets
buffet and Prosecco wine. Opening of the of the bar for cocktails (extras)
• 11.40 p.m.: Grand Ball in the Ridotto
